Privacy policy

Overview

KRATOS Kalendar does not require its own account and includes no advertising or proprietary analytics. Preferences are stored on your device. Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Data on your device

KRATOS Kalendar code does not set cookies or include advertising or analytics storage. Local storage supports requested features: language, preferences, optional name, ratings, expanded access and offline content. These functions do not add a consent banner.

The browser remembers your language, main calendar, consulted date, whether you follow today, the stay-awake setting and optional name for convenient offline use. Your daily rhythm stores optional ratings for up to 31 dates and your chosen zodiac symbol. These are not health measurements and are not sent or synchronized. Initial stars are symbolic suggestions, not facts about you. Changes store your choice and the accompanying response type; migrated choices do not infer earlier changes.

Use “Clear my ratings and symbol” in that section, or clear this site's browser data. The latter also removes offline content and purchase status. Preferences and stars are not deleted because of a refund.

External processing

Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser information and request metadata to host and protect the service. See its privacy policy. The QR image is generated locally and opens the calendar without an external tracking service. Support uses your email address and message to answer your enquiry.

Permissions and the free widget

This version does not request contacts, location, camera or microphone access. The optional stay-awake reading mode asks the browser to keep the screen active while you read. The free Android widget calculates dates locally from the device clock, time zone and language. Boot permission lets it refresh after a restart. It sends none of those values to a server and does not need a permanent service. Tapping it opens the web app, which makes the connections described here.

Google Play purchase and restoration

The Google Play edition offers a one-time purchase of full content. Play supplies the local price and processes payment through your Google account. KRATOS Kalendar receives no card details. The web without Google Play cannot sell the upgrade.

To verify and acknowledge a purchase and download content, the app sends the product identifier and purchase token over HTTPS to our Cloudflare verifier on kratoskalendar.com. It checks the purchase with Google Play. Our code processes the original token only during the request; it does not store it on your device, in a database or application logs. Google handles purchases under its privacy policy.

The verifier uses a hash of the IP address to limit abusive requests, without storing or logging the raw IP in application code. Cloudflare may process infrastructure metadata as described above.

IndexedDB stores access status, a SHA-256 hash of the verified token (not the original token), and full content for offline reading. At startup and when you choose “Restore my access”, the app checks purchases with Play. An already verified purchase with downloaded content is not sent to our server on every startup. A new purchase or missing local content requires verification before download. If a successful Play check no longer returns the purchase, access status, hash and full content are deleted. Failed checks or no network retain previous access.

Clearing site data does not cancel your Play purchase; you can restore it using the same Google account.

Purpose, retention and deletion

Purchase verification and content delivery fulfil your purchase. Abuse prevention serves our legitimate interest in protecting the service. Support messages are used to address your request.

The original token and Play response are processed only for the request, with no purchase database or application logs. The token hash and downloaded content stay on your device until you clear site data or a refund is confirmed. Preferences remain until cleared; ratings are limited to 31 dates. We do not receive these local records.

Support messages are retained as needed to resolve your enquiry and, where applicable, meet legal obligations or handle claims. Google and Cloudflare apply their own retention terms to data processed in their services; the app cannot promise to erase those records.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability of data we process, where applicable, using the contact above. Do not send purchase tokens or passwords. Data held only on your device can be deleted through browser site settings; we cannot access it remotely.

You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe your rights have been infringed. See its rights guidance.

Optional name, only on your device

In the full version you may choose a name. It stays only in this device's preferences and is never sent to a server. Change or delete it under Your name. No account is created. After a confirmed refund we stop showing the greeting; clearing site data also deletes the saved name.
